We bend our heads in memory of our unique friend, Alan D. Eames, who entertained, informed and awed us with his knowledge and passion for the history of beer, women's role in this ancient beverage and the importance of beer in a democratic society. We will dedicate the 2007 Ohio Brew Week in Alan's honor and attempt to carry on his fine and passionate insights.
