2010 Brew BQ Cook-Off

Sample Brew BQ contest entries. Beer garden featuring Great Lakes Brewing Co. and Budweiser Craft Brews opens at noon. Tickets to buy samples will be available on site.BBQ Competition and Samples, 2-4 p.m. BBQ Vending starts at 4 pm. Beer, $3/glass; Athens Train Depot area, West Union St.
Also enjoy Cruise In — The Lions’ Club Antique Car Show and Harley displays.
The Brew BQ Cook-off Competition includes entries in the ribs, beef brisket/pork butt, chicken or vegetarian categories and contestants will enter in the professional cooks and chefs, semi-professional chefs or amateurs category. Proceeds from the event will benefit local charities and scholarship funds.
